We just wrapped up our second week in our INKED sermon series. Pastor Erik talked about the HEART.

God is a mystery and the only thing we will ever know as finite beings is what he chooses to reveal to us.  And the Bible says over and over and over that God HAS revealed himself to us through his Son Jesus Christ, and he has revealed himself to you by giving you a unique heart!  But some of you have decided that you are not moving forward until you have all your questions answered, and you are ROBBING YOURSELF!  

Figuring out who God is and what walking with him is like will take you the rest of your life, but if you decide to hold God at arm’s length until you get all your questions answered, you are robbing yourself.  

I don’t have all of my questions answered!  But it is about putting your trust in Jesus Christ and moving forward, and getting some of your questions answered along the way.  

Courage is not the absence of fear, it is the decision to press on in spite of fear!

FIND OUT WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO AND DO IT FOR HIS GLORY!  DO NOT DRIFT AND DRAG THROUGH LIFE!

Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

God wants us to surrender our hearts to Him, examine what we enjoy doing, explore our options and then to step out in faith and do something big for his kingdom!
