This past Sunday, Pastor Dave talked about the need to be in the Word. Being in the Word means spending time each day reading the Bible so that God is able to speak to you through his Holy Word.

Pastor Dave shared a way to journal called SOAP.

S    Scripture.  Write down part of the scripture you read.

O   Observation.  Write down what stood out to you.

A     Application.  How are you going to apply what you read to your life.

P     Prayer.  Jot down a one or two sentence prayer asking God to apply what you just observed
